品酒不用跑納帕!聖塔芭芭拉的有機葡萄酒莊 “Sunstone Winery” 有著美酒美景,而且隨手一拍都是大片! - 洛杉磯週報 - 亞洲版

Founded in 1990 as one of the first organic vineyard estates in Santa Barbara County, Sunstone Winery is considered to be one of the most visually stunning winery estates in California.  Named for the vineyard’s exposed sun-dappled shale and stones, Sunstone is a destination winery that has been honored many times over by Santa Barbara Independent readers as “Best Santa Ynez Valley Tasting Room”.

At Sunstone, located just 35 minutes north of Santa Barbara, you can seemingly transport yourself to the French countryside. Upon arrival, guests enter the winery’s inviting lavender and rosemary filled courtyard, leading to the expansive picnic grounds and the gorgeous stone tasting room and barrel aging caves, recalling the rustic homes and barns of Provence.

Sunstone’s 28-acre vineyard was planted in 1990 to Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Mourvedre and Viognier,  and is completely farmed in an organic, bio-sustainable manner, meeting the highest organic farming standards in viticulture. It is believed that Sunstone is now the oldest, continuously organically grown vineyard in Santa Barbara County.

Perched on the hillside above the winery is The Sunstone Villa, an 8,500 square foot architectural masterpiece reserved for private events and guest experiences. Completed in 2002 using reclaimed materials from across France, the Villa is a living piece of history.
